Emma

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson is the daughter of British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby (born in Paris) as well as Chris Watson (born in Paris). She made the move to Oxfordshire in the year she turned five when she enrolled in the Dragon School. Emma was six years old when she made the decision to become an actress. The actress trained for several years in Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. When she was 10, Emma had taken part in numerous Stagecoach productions, as well as school plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000), the film remake of J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel was cast for the first second time back in 1999. Emma was discovered by agents through an Oxford teacher. After the eight auditions, the producer David Heyman told Emma and the other candidates Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint that they had been cast to play the three main characters Hermione Granger Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. Emma's first film on the screen came in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone which was released in 2001. It broke all records for opening day and weekend revenues, and it also became the highest-grossing film of 2001. Critics praised the film and the performance of three top young actors. The Daily Telegraph, a widely read British newspaper, was awed by her for her impressive performance. Emma's performance won her a nomination and received five awards in the film.
