MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His global success has seen him break into mainstream Latin music. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for the Best Song. in Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and released ADN as his debut full-length album. This album peaked at eight in the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. Mala Influencia was made available in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album that year. In 2021, he sang a duet. He sang a duet 2021 along with TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was published in 2023. Turizo is from an musical family, as both his mother and elder brother also play music. Turizo has told interviews that music was a necessity. When he was young, he taught how to perform on the guitar, piano as well as the ukulele. The first goal was to be an vet but when his brother Julian encouraged him to take lessons with the help of a Cuban singer, he changed goals for his future career.
